About MIB International
How It All Began
In July 2020, amid the uncertainty of a global pandemic, on a modest startup budget and with the help of a few friends, Leona Burton founded MIB International.
With the aim of bringing together mums and women in business, providing them with great training and support, and access to business and life development opportunities, its rapid growth suggests the business may have discovered a real need.
MIB International (MIB is shorthand for Mums/Moms/Mommas & Women In Business) is built around 4 key themes: Support, Empowerment, Education and Networking.
As Seen In
CEO, Leona Burton
As a businesswoman and mum to 5, Leona was frustrated at the lack of support for mums in business.
‘There were plenty of networking opportunities, but none where children were welcome, and despite many mum and baby/toddler groups, none where she could also network, learn and grow the business’ Leona said.
The Vision
In classic entrepreneurial style, she created the space she wished had been available to her – open, supportive and child friendly.
At the heart of MIB International are child friendly networking events.
A chance to meet with other women in business, share ideas, grow personally and professionally, and where children are welcome.

Meet Our Founder
“For me having success means supporting others. We’re building a movement here.
We’re really on a mission. The route to freedom for women can be a successful business, whether that’s from kitchen table, spare room, or boardroom.
When I ran head first into the consequences of business inexperience some years ago, I was fortunate enough to have access to people who helped me find the route through it. I’m paying it forward.
I was taught a few key things that helped me in business and we’re sharing that knowledge, and a whole lot more, alongside some talented and dedicated people. It’s a great place to be. And you’re welcome.”

As a working mum I always looked for a community where I feel I can be myself and create great relationships, friendships, and business relationships too and MIB International is exactly all that.
There are lots of resources, support, and friendships.
Mums understand mums, we understand each other’s needs and how stressful that it is sometimes to juggle many hats in life, and it is lovely to have that community that you feel part of.
