I’m Suzanne, an AAT-qualified and licensed accountant and the founder of Small Business Bookkeeping (Stoke) Ltd.

I set up my business because I wanted to do bookkeeping and tax support differently. After working in traditional accountancy practices, I realised that if I were a small business owner, I’d probably feel intimidated and nervous. Everything felt very formal and overcomplicated, so my aim was to create something more approachable, supportive, and human.

I mainly work with solopreneurs and small business owners, especially women who are brilliant at what they do but don’t enjoy the numbers side of running a business. I explain things clearly, without jargon, and I don’t charge for every email or phone call. You’re free to ask as many questions as you like, and I promise there’s no such thing as a silly one. If it’s easier to send a quick WhatsApp message or voice note, that’s absolutely fine. Evening appointments are available too.

I offer bookkeeping, VAT support, and self-assessment tax returns, with ongoing guidance to help you stay on track and feel more confident about your finances. My goal is simple – to help you understand your numbers and feel supported, not stressed or judged.

I offer fixed monthly fee support packages, so you get the help you need without any surprises when it comes to paying.
