This collection is an introduction to mindfulness, with a final session of a guided meditation.
Each session focuses on one area of mindfulness and covers: the basics, the breath, the body, managing reactions and kindness and compassion. We often talk about looking after our mental health and wellbeing and not giving from an empty cup, or trying to manage stress, anxiety and overwhelm, but with little focus on the action needed to do this.
Mindfulness is a wonderful toolkit that could greatly benefit all these areas. Unfortunately, people often don’t know where to start, or they don’t know what mindfulness is, or they even think that they are not good at meditating.
The truth is anyone can do it and there are no hard and fast rules. This collection has been created to give you an understanding of what mindfulness is, how to start practicing, and ultimately allow you to re-learn to be truly present, love your mind, and enjoy life.
